As a Platform Hardware Design Engineer at Foundry Lab Network, you will play a key role in driving the end-to-end development of platform hardware solution for lab debug activities. On a day-to-day basis, you will design, develop, and evaluate electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs), oversee board layout processes, and ensure compatibility across hardware and software systems. You will actively learn and participate in microprocessor power-on and debug activities in the lab, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge silicon using the platform hardware solutions you help build.
You will join Foundry APAC Lab within Intel Foundry Lab Network organization, a team dedicated in providing breakthrough and cost-effective solutions powered by advanced analytics and machine learning to empower lab users and partners in achieving proactive defect detection and prevention with measurable improvements in yield, quality and reliability.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Candidates with hands-on experience in hardware design and development, and demonstrated technical skills gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or practical training, will have an added advantage.
Proficiency in board layout design and schematic capture tools.
Foundational knowledge of hardware platform fundamentals and component-level design principles.
Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, and HDL.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve technical issues effectively.
Exposure to power analysis, platform architecture for validation, and board-level defect triaging.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality products.
Passion for learning and contributing to innovative hardware solutions.
