PepsiCo Korea에서 Tissue Culture Lab Manager를 채용합니다. 조직 배양, 생명공학, 종자 과학 분야의 박사 학위와 5~7년 이상의 경력이 필수입니다. 감자 생식질 관리, DNA 지문 분석 및 바이러스 테스트를 통해 유전적 순도를 유지하고, 종자 파이프라인을 위한 식물체 증식 및 실험실 운영을 총괄하는 역할을 수행합니다.
Overview To maintain world class standards at the facility, proper maintenance and handling of potato germplasm, periodic DNA finger printing and virus tests of all the clones to maintain genetic purity and health. Timely multiplication of plantlets to fulfill seed pipeline requirement and identification of key supplier and sustain relationship with them Suppliers/stakeholders Responsibilities Ensuring world class standards are being maintained at the facility Establish relationship with NARC and Frito-Lay, USA to have SOPs for media preparation, handling lab, growth room and germplasm conservation Execute protocols and SOPs to maintain sanitation, handling glass wares and media preparation operations Ensure proper maintenance and handling of potato germplasm. Arrange for long term preservation of all the potato clones Arrange for maintenance of all the germplasm lines by periodic sub-culturing Ensure periodic DNA finger printing and virus tests of all the clones to maintain genetic purity and health Identify right sources to obtain periodic DNA finger prints and virus testing of all the clones To maintain genetic purity and health of all the clones, arrange timely and periodic DNA finger print and virus testing of al the clones being maintained in the facility Maintain documents/ record obtained from DNA finger prints and ELISA tests conducted at regular interval Ensure timely multiplication of plantlets to fulfill seed pipeline requirement Maintain close relationship with seed team to know the seed pipeline requirement Understand the process of generation advancement and field multiplication processes Arrange mass multiplication of desired clones to deliver right number of plantlets for MT production Ensure identification of key supplier – glass ware / chemical / facilities for DNA fingerprints and potato health and sustain relationship with them Identify best suppliers for lab glass wares and chemicals and maintain good relationship with them Identify best and trustworthy biotech facilities to test genetic purity and health of all the clones. Qualifications PhD in Tissue Culture / Bio-Technology / Seed Science Min 5 – 7 Years’ Experience with 2 – 3 Years’ experience in Managerial position
