Join Intel as a Silicon Validation Engineering Intern and embark on a unique opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact in the semiconductor industry. In this role, you will contribute directly to the validation of Intel's next generation high-performance CPU and interconnected interfaces, ensuring they meet Intel's high standards for quality, power, thermal, and performance.
You will play a key role in shaping Intel's next-generation technologies, supporting the development of cutting-edge innovations used by millions worldwide.
Gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment as you apply your technical skills to real-world challenges while exploring potential career paths within Intel.
You will have the unique opportunity to team up with architects, designers and cross-functional teams to set up post-Silicon validation environments, define test content, execute validation plans, and measure, analyze and report CPU's power and performance validation results.
Minimum Qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
Currently pursuing a BSc, MSc or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (with at least 1 year remaining before graduation).
Advanced English level.
6+ months of experience in:
Programming skills in Python or C/C++.
Analog Electronics, circuit analysis, and data analysis techniques.
Foundational knowledge of system architecture and/or SoC microarchitecture.
Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience applied to electronic circuits and/or computer systems.
Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico (this role is not eligible for visa or immigration sponsorship).
Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
