We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.
Design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools used across the engineering organization.
Own and improve developer infrastructure, used for building and testing Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
Operate and maintain the Gerrit code review system supporting AAOS and Android platform development, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
Develop and maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, and quality-gating tooling for large-scale AAOS codebases.
Collaborate with Android, platform, and application engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, and release workflows.
Establish best practices, standards, and well-defined development paths for tooling and infrastructure across teams.
Act as the primary technical owner for all developer tooling related to Android Automotive OS.
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least one year’s experience working at an automotive technology company
At least 12 months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, and gRPC/Protocol buffers.
The salary range for this position is $149,365 - $163,974 per year USD annually.
