1. System Design

Lead the definition of the PRD (Product Requirement Document) to plan the System and Product.
Define and manage the Product Portfolio and Standardization of the workstations during the complete Product Lifecycle of each Product Line.
Lead the Product Roadmap and the future vision of the company in the Product field.
Secure complete Product Competitiveness, including: efficiency, safety, quality, cost, standardization.
Product landscape and competitor analysis.
Secure Safety (CE Harmonized Standards) and Ergonomics are part of the System Design.

2. Development Management

Lead multidisciplinary development teams and ensure that detailed engineering is done according to the PRD and specified requirements.
Lead prototype verification and testing requirements.
Cooperation with the Procurement manager and supply chain. Define the strategy for supplying products.

3. Sales and Solution Support

Guide Sales and Solutions teams to implement the final product according to the design.
Engage in projects during the PoC phase.
Evaluate commercial project customizations and requirements.

Excellent knowledge regarding CE safety standards and their implementation in the material handling industry.
Expertise in human-machine interaction in the material handling and logistics industry.
Advanced logistics automation design know-how (at least 5 years of experience). Comprehensive knowledge of HAI and main competitors’ standard systems and modules, as well as already implemented material handling, storage, and picking solutions.
Ability to analyze and understand customer business processes.
Able to work in a multi-disciplinary and intercultural expert network.
Good communication, presentation, and English skills (Chinese as a bonus).

Available to travel to China 3/4 times a year.
Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field or a Bachelor's degree with extensive experience.
