Senior Manager II, Merchant Account Management is a senior leadership role responsible for driving both business performance and team effectiveness across Rocket Now’s key merchant segments. This role requires a strong balance of analytical thinking, execution capability, and organizational leadership, with a clear focus on delivering measurable results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Lead and develop a team of Account Managers, driving strong team performance and individual growth
Own and drive key business metrics, ensuring consistent achievement of results, not just reportingIdentify business challenges, define problems clearly, and drive end-to-end solutions with measurable impact
Oversee merchant lifecycle performance and drive sustainable growth across segments
Build and manage relationships with key merchants to support long-term business success
Partner with cross-functional teams to align on priorities and drive execution
Operate effectively in a dynamic and changing environment, adapting quickly as business needs evolve
Contribute to team structure, processes, and ways of working as the organization continues to scale
10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
5+ years of people management experience
Proven track record of delivering strong business outcomes
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in Japanese
Business-level English (speaking/reading/writing)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Short term business trips to other regions
