This role ensures accurate payroll and benefits administration, compliance with Taiwan labor laws, and efficient HR operations. Key responsibilities include managing monthly payroll, labor and health insurance processes, employee data, and HR systems. The position also conducts compliance audits, liaises with government agencies, and provides HR reporting and analysis. Strong expertise in Taiwan labor regulations, attention to detail, and experience with HR systems (Workday preferred) are essential.
Payroll and Benefits Administration:
Responsible for monthly payroll calculation, reconciliation, and disbursement, ensuring accuracy.
Manage the enrollment and termination processes for Labor Insurance and National Health Insurance.
Administer group insurance, including monthly claims, enrollment/termination, and assistance with claims processing.
Input and calculate special bonuses (e.g., performance bonuses, profit sharing).
Handle special or unusual payroll situations, such as final settlements for terminations or advance wage payments.
Employee Data and Movement Management:
Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, overtime, and other relevant data. Responsible for tracking and managing headcount, ensuring data is updated promptly.
Administrative support in employee cases, escalating complex matters to HRBP or legal counsel as appropriate
HR Compliance and Policy Enforcement:
Conduct regular compliance audits of daily HR operational processes to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Be proficient in Taiwan's Labor Standards Act and related labor regulations, ensuring company policies and practices are compliant.
Serve as the primary liaison with various government labor-related agencies (e.g., Labor Insurance Bureau, National Health Insurance Administration, Department of Labor).
HR System Management:
Responsible for the daily management and maintenance of the Human Resources Management (HRM) System.
Propose process improvement opportunities to reduce error rates.
Reporting and Analysis – Mainatin data integrity, generate regular and adhoc HR reports for business & compliance purposes.
Provide various HR operational data reports and analyses as needed.
