The Retail Performance (Assistant Manager - Manager) Manager is responsible for monitoring retail performance, supporting sales forecasting and target setting, managing incentive calculations and retail budget, and providing actionable analysis on store and staff productivity. This role plays a key part in driving commercial performance by delivering accurate reporting, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and supporting strategic planning for sales, events, and retail operations within Louis Vuitton Korea.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance Management & Strategic Analysis
- Monitor, analyze, and report on daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, tracking key retail metrics across all stores.
- Support sales forecasting, commercial target setting, and store allocation, aligning with business objectives and YTG planning.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive retail performance reports, including automated tools, and provide data-driven insights on staff sales KPIs and productivity.
- Identify performance trends, analyze high-ticket sales, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales strategies and address underperformance.
2. Incentive & Budget Management
- Develop, execute, and manage product/event-based incentive schemes, accurately calculating and tracking payouts for various campaigns and staff categories.
- Oversee store and staff KPI tracking for payments, consolidate incentive results, and address all related inquiries in coordination with HR.
- Support retail budgeting incl. OPEX, manage expense submissions, and ensure accurate accrual management.
- Provide financial oversight and support for CRM action plans and other retail initiatives, ensuring adherence to budget.
3. Commercial Planning & Event Sales Support
- Coordinate and support target allocation for new product collections and major retail events, collaborating with Merchandising and Retail teams.
- Monitor event sales/redemption performance, analyze results, and contribute to the planning and operational execution of key commercial events.
- Prepare materials and data for store manager meetings, providing insights for strategic planning and performance reviews.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a central point of contact for retail performance-related reporting and analysis, fostering strong collaboration with Retail Managers, Store Managers, HR, Finance, CRM, and Merchandising.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication across departments regarding performance, targets, incentives, and operational updates.
- Provide essential data support to other divisions, contributing to overall business intelligence and operational efficiency.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics or a related field. 8+ years of experience in retail performance analysis, commercial planning, or retail, preferably within a luxury retail environment. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, highly proficient in Excel/PowerPoint, and experience with reporting systems. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic retail setting. Experience in incentive design, retail payroll support, or automated reporting tools. Good command of English and Korean communication skills. Accuracy and timeliness of sales forecasting, reporting, and KPI tracking.
