Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is a global commercial vehicle manufacturer with more than 90 years of history and craftsmanship, delivering high‑quality trucks and buses to over 170 countries and regions worldwide.

In April 2026, MFTBC will integrate with Hino Motors under a newly established holding company, ARCHION, and begin operations as part of this new organization.

ARCHION is a new commercial vehicle group jointly supported by Toyota Motor Corporation and Daimler Truck, each holding a 25% stake, aiming to strengthen competitiveness across the Asia‑Pacific region and beyond through collaboration in development, procurement, and production.

当社のブランド価値と商品力をさらに高めるべく、意欲と経験豊富なシニアデザイナーを募集いたします。 業務内容は、ふそう、およびRizonブランドで販売される全商品の外装・内装のデザインに加え、先行デザイン、ブランド戦略、HMI、ソーシャルデザイン、カラーマテリアルフィニッシュデザイン、など社内の見た目に関わるもののほぼすべてに関与しています。

デザイン部は4つのチームで構成されており①プロダクションデザイン、②アドバンスデザイン、③リアライゼーションデザイン、④ヒューマンセントリック・エコシステムデザインに分かれている。部全体では23名が在籍している。

今回募集していプロダクションデザインチームはマネージャー含め５名の社員（正社員４名、契約社員１名）が活躍している。

English Part

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior designer to further elevate our brand value and product appeal. The role encompasses the exterior and interior design of all products sold under the Fuso and Rizon brands, as well as involvement in virtually all aspects of visual design within the company—including advanced design, brand strategy, HMI, social design, and CMF (Color, Material, and Finish) design.

The Design Department is composed of four teams: 1) Production Design, 2) Advanced Design, 3) Realization Design, and 4) Human-Centric Ecosystem Design. The department has a total of 23 members.

The Production Design team currently recruiting consists of five employees (four full-time and one contract staff member), including the manager.

• 製品プロジェクトにおける初期アイデアの創出、それを基にした立体造形のコントロール。

• 部内チームに加え、設計部門、実験部門、商品企画部門、協力会社などのステークホルダーと協業しながら商品の完成に向けて貢献する。

• 競合製品だけでなく各分野のデザインのトレンド、AIの活用、デザイン開発手法、その他関連する最新技術に常に関心を持ち、リサーチと技術会得につとめる。

• お客様との接点を積極的に持ち、真に求められているものを常に意識して業務に当たる。

[Job Responsibilities]

 Generate initial concepts for product projects and oversee the resulting 3D modeling and form development.

 Collaborate with internal teams as well as stakeholders—including engineering, testing, and product planning departments, as well as partner companies—to bring products to completion.

 Stay abreast of not only competitor products but also design trends across various fields, AI applications, design development methodologies, and other relevant cutting-edge technologies; actively conduct research and acquire new technical skills.

 Proactively engage with customers and maintain a constant focus on meeting their genuine needs while performing duties.

 自動車・産業デザインスタジオ、またはそれに準ずる環境での数年間の実務経験

 自動車生産に関連する業界標準や法規制に関する知識

 Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Automotive Design  Several years of professional experience in an automotive or industrial design studio (or equivalent environment)

 Strong aesthetic sense regarding commercial vehicles, aiming for an optimal blend of beauty and functionality  High level of proficiency in CAD software and sketching  Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to automotive production  Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams  Passion for design, technology, and the automotive industry, along with a strong drive to create innovative products for customers  Ability to lead the entire design process (from A to Z)
