Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is a global commercial vehicle manufacturer with more than 90 years of history and craftsmanship, delivering high‑quality trucks and buses to over 170 countries and regions worldwide.

In April 2026, MFTBC will integrate with Hino Motors under a newly established holding company, ARCHION, and begin operations as part of this new organization.

ARCHION is a new commercial vehicle group jointly supported by Toyota Motor Corporation and Daimler Truck, each holding a 25% stake, aiming to strengthen competitiveness across the Asia‑Pacific region and beyond through collaboration in development, procurement, and production.

Building on Japan’s engineering excellence and our extensive global experience, MFTBC will continue to accelerate innovation in commercial vehicle development, advance carbon‑neutral initiatives, and drive CASE technologies including electrification and automated driving.

当部は開発本部に所属し、テクニカルコンプライアンス、法規認証、開発品質管理、開発ガバナンスを担当している。当部は開発本部の要として、製品開発プロセスの維持管理と実行に寄与している。

-部全体では32名が在籍、国内認証チームは7名で構成

Our department belongs to R&D office and is responsible for technical compliance management, regulation & homologation, engineering quality management, and engineering governance tasks. Our department is a core of R&D to maintain the entire product development process and its operation.

仕事内容／Job Description

国内認証のマネージャーは、日本、パキスタン、中国に関する法規情報と認証について活動するチームを担当する。                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

- 担当マーケット：日本、パキスタン、中国                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

- 担当する製品：大型から小型までのトラック・バス、産業エンジン                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

- 法規関連タスク：官辺、自工会、地域販売会社等からの法規情報収集・分析・社内関連部門との共有・文書化                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

- 認証：協定規則に基づく装置認証の取得、車両型式認証の取得、製品開発プロジェクトの日程に沿った認証活動の実施、認証内部統制の自己評価・第三者評価管理                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         

- 規制物質管理: IMDSを利用したMDS情報収集の管理、EU等の市場におけるレポートの作成、インドの協力会社(FTCI)との協業   

Homologation Japan MG is responsible for

the team working for regulation and homologation activity for Japan, Pakistan, and China.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

- Responsible market: Japan, Pakistan,

- Scope of product: Truck (from heavy duty

to light duty including eCanter), Bus (from heavy coach bus to light bus), Industrial engine                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

- Regulation task: Gather regulation update

information from the authority, JAMA, GD, etc., Analyze gathered information, Share with stakeholders, Document the information                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       

- Homologation task: Obtain System Type

Approval and Vehicle Type Approval along with the project timeline, Homologation internal control assessment (self assessment / 3rd party assessment)                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

- IMDS task: Manage Material Data Sheet gathering

process with IMDS operation and prepare the regulatory required report for EU, etc. with support from FTCI (India engineering team)
