Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is a global commercial vehicle manufacturer with more than 90 years of history and craftsmanship, delivering high‑quality trucks and buses to over 170 countries and regions worldwide.
In April 2026, MFTBC will integrate with Hino Motors under a newly established holding company, ARCHION, and begin operations as part of this new organization.
ARCHION is a new commercial vehicle group jointly supported by Toyota Motor Corporation and Daimler Truck, each holding a 25% stake, aiming to strengthen competitiveness across the Asia‑Pacific region and beyond through collaboration in development, procurement, and production.
Building on Japan’s engineering excellence and our extensive global experience, MFTBC will continue to accelerate innovation in commercial vehicle development, advance carbon‑neutral initiatives, and drive CASE technologies including electrification and automated driving.

'-機能・性能実験部は，包括的な車両評価を担当する4つの専門チームで構成されています。

'Our primary responsibility is to ensure product reliability and performance through thorough validation before delivery to customers.
This includes evaluating all possible vehicle usage scenarios to guarantee quality and safety.
We also conduct benchmarking of competitor vehicles to stay informed about the latest industry trends.
Insights gained from these evaluations are used to enhance future product development.
The vehicles we validate and release play a vital role in supporting those who keep the world moving.
To meet evolving customer needs and integrate emerging technologies, we continuously strive to improve our validation methods for greater efficiency and adaptability.
'-Performance/Function Testing Department consists of 4 specialized teams responsible for comprehensive vehicle validation activities.
-With approximately 50 members, the department fosters a dynamic and collaborative working environment.
'本ポジションでは、性能/機能に関する車両レベルの評価の計画及び，実行を担当します。
主な業務内容は以下の通りです：
-サプライヤーを含む関係者と連携し、検証計画を策定
-実車試験の調整及び，実施
-試験データのレビュー及び，分析
-包括的な試験報告書の作成
また，本業務には高地，夏季/冬季環境，海外現地試験等，さまざまな環境条件下での標準的な車両検証も含まれます。さらに，設計，実験，サプライヤー，ならびに日野自動車のメンバーとの間で定期的に部門を超えたディスカッションを行い，方向性の整合および進捗管理を図ります。
'This role involves planning and executing vehicle-level validation activities for Performance/Function.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing validation plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including suppliers.
- Coordinating and conducting actual vehicle testing.
- Reviewing and analyzing test data.
- Preparing comprehensive test reports.
The scope also includes standard vehicle validation under various environmental conditions such as high-altitude, summer/winter climates, and overseas local testing. Regular cross-functional discussions are held with teams from vehicle integration, design, testing, suppliers, and HINO motors members to ensure alignment and progress.
