We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced supplier quality engineer to join our Supplier Quality Management (QMS), Vehicle parts development team, as a Supplier Quality engineer, you will play a crucial role in dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders for supplier part quality development activities locally and also with overseas to support our company's growth and success. You will be responsible for developing and ensuring parts quality for Vehicle parts projects by applying basic ISO and IATF standard requirements. Adding to this looking for strong knowledge in Advanced Product Qulaity Planning and Production Part Approval Processes practices in addition with strong Manufacturing process knowledge .
The Supplier Quality Management (QMS) Department is made up by 5 different teams: 1) Supplier part development &Material / Process Technologies, 2) Series Quality Management -Powertrain, 3) Series Quality Management - Vehicle , 4) Material lab, 5) Measurement lab. There are total of approx 80 members working for this team.
1. Strong knowledge in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements to deal with suppliers for part development activities
2. Interaction with suppliers (domestic and overseas) to ensure the product quality requirements with respect to project time line
3. Dealing with internal stakeholders for parts quality processes and part development milestone related activities
4. Product knowledge on Cabin related parts & Chassis assembly parts to deal internally and with suppliers for part development
5. Supplier risk assessment to ensure defect free product quality development
6. Supplier process audit skills with respect to basic ISO and IATF requirements
7. Indepth knowledge on Advance product quality planning (APQP) processes and Production part approval processes (PPAP) for effective part development activites
Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical graduates Min 5 years experience in Quality Management profile Negotiation skills Japanese：Biginner English：Conversational
