Join NVIDIA’s Network Business Unit (NBU) as a Test Production Engineer and be part of a team advancing AI and computing! Our engineers lead high-volume production and new product introduction (NPI) of innovative silicon. In this role, you’ll oversee test operations in both Wafer Sorting (CP) and Final Testing (FT) settings. You will ensure detailed execution and continuous improvement of production processes. Your efforts will be vital for yield improvement and advanced problem-solving in our manufacturing operations. Providing support for Wafer Sort (CP) and Final Test (FT) activities on the Amkor test floor, handling a range of equipment including testers, handlers, and probers.
Applying strong technical and troubleshooting skills to debug hardware and software issues across control plane and fault tolerance environments.
Analyzing yield relationships and investigating root causes across Wafer Sort (CP) and Final Test (FT), pinpointing issues and promoting resolution.
Monitoring pre-test preparation of materials and hardware, setting up test environments, and ensuring smooth execution of test programs.
Ensuring testing is performed as required, actively debugging and resolving issues related to test yield, correlation, and equipment performance.
Bringing to bear modern data analysis and AI-assisted tools to improve debugging efficiency, identify failure patterns, and support data-driven decision making.
Collaborating closely with local planning, engineering, and management teams, as well as communicating with NVIDIA global teams.
Maintaining strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in a semiconductor or electronic manufacturing environment.
Practical background in either Wafer Sort (CP) or Final Test (FT), with preference for experience in both.
Strong debugging skills in ATE environments, including hardware and test program issues.
Proven grasp of test flow from CP to FT, including yield analysis and correlation.
Foundational knowledge of data analytics and familiarity with AI-assisted tools.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to balance multiple tasks in a dynamic production setting.
Strong problem-solving skills and ownership approach.
Experience with both CP and FT environments, including yield correlation and debug.
Proficiency in using AI or automation tools to analyze test data, identify patterns, or improve engineering efficiency.
Exposure to advanced packaging technologies, including Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), optical integration, or heterogeneous integration platforms.
