Product Quality Engineer (PQE), Display Component - Korea

Operations engineering is engaged from the earliest stages of new product introduction (NPI), engineering builds, ramp up and throughout product lifecycle. The team ensures high quality and high yield, working with module teams to quickly resolve technical and operational issues and interface between vendors and downstream module integrators. We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer (PQE) for Display Component to be based in Korea!

PQE as part of Technical Operations, will work in conjunction with the Manufacturing Process Engineering team as well as a multi-functional team of Design, Engineering, Sourcing and Product Development Engineers to ensure that top quality products and services from the suppliers and drive excellence into everything we do. In this highly visible technical quality lead role, you will be the resident factory expert in manufacturing process, yields and overall factory readiness for mass production, combining knowledge of Display and Display related components to deliver results on a tight timeline.

Business-level proficiency in verbal and written English, with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly across cross-functional teams Solid understanding of end-to-end quality control processes, with familiarity in Smart Quality / Quality 4.0 initiatives and data-driven quality management Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools such as JMP, Tableau, or equivalent platforms, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations Basic proficiency in using AI-enabled tools to support engineering workflows, including data analysis, report generation, knowledge search, and task automation Hands-on experience in failure analysis within the display or related engineering field, with a general understanding of DOE principles and structured problem-solving methodologies Practical experience with failure analysis and characterization tools such as FIB-SEM, AFM, FTIR, CT-scan, or equivalent equipment to support complex technical investigations B.S. or B.E. degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field, or equivalent proven experience in a relevant engineering role

Strong ability for teamwork and collaboration Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to concisely understand and communicate issues and lead cross functional teams to solution Willingness to be flexible, manage multiple activities, and frequently pivot to new tasks and responsibilities Experience with Roll-to-Roll manufacturing processes and quality control Experience with external supplier for program management Proficiency in Korean or Japanese Language is a plus Flexibility for business travel in Korea/Japan and other countries Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and its application experience is a plus
