Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is a global commercial vehicle manufacturer with more than 90 years of history and craftsmanship, delivering high‑quality trucks and buses to over 170 countries and regions worldwide.
In April 2026, MFTBC will integrate with Hino Motors under a newly established holding company, ARCHION, and begin operations as part of this new organization.
ARCHION is a new commercial vehicle group jointly supported by Toyota Motor Corporation and Daimler Truck, each holding a 25% stake, aiming to strengthen competitiveness across the Asia‑Pacific region and beyond through collaboration in development, procurement, and production.

The Product and Strategy team here at Mitsubishi Fuso links corporate strategy, development, production, market, and customer functions. We create ONE company flow by steering the product strategy, planning and projects hand-in-hand with teams throughout the organization from the initial guardrail setting to project realization and through to final production.
We are involved in the product and business strategy, project management and segment strategy of both diesel vehicles and xEVs for Mitsubishi Fuso.
We are the Powertrain department of the Product and Strategy team, currently 14 people, who define, lead and manage all of the powertrain components and projects of Mitsubishi Fuso. This includes diesel powertrain components such as engines, transmissions and aftertreatment systems, but also zero emission powertrain components such as eAxles, batteries and charging systems.
- Define, lead, implement, and manage projects for powertrain components such as engines, transmissions and aftertreatment systems
- Set target costs, manage risks in accordance with product creation process logic, and confirm project maturity at each milestone.
- Define and maintain suitable interfaces with vehicle projects to ensure component roadmaps are aligned with the overall product strategy.
- Proactively review market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to curate the best potential portfolio for customers and the company.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation and reports for board approvals.
- Define and integrate line functions, external service providers, and suppliers to create a cohesive project team.
- Synthesize product, customer and market needs to ideate and develop solutions that support the company’s powertrain product strategy.
-Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferrably in automotive industry, but other industries can be considered.
-Automotive and powertrain knowledge preferred.
-Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information to leadership is a must.
-Strong ability to build relationships and mediate between conflicting parties also a must.
-Entrepreneurial mindset a plus.
-PMP certification a plus.
