Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is a global commercial vehicle manufacturer with more than 90 years of history and craftsmanship, delivering high‑quality trucks and buses to over 170 countries and regions worldwide.
In April 2026, MFTBC will integrate with Hino Motors under a newly established holding company, ARCHION, and begin operations as part of this new organization.

We are searching for a highly motivated and proficient Legal Professional to support our Legal Department.
In particular, we are looking for a professional serving as in-house legal counsel. The role is to protect the interests of the company, enable the design and implementation of business strategies as well as managing legal risks and ensuring compliance with internal policies, local and international laws & regulations. This includes the management of external legal counsel where required. Task is to provide legal advice to the management and business areas of MFTBC as an OEM business comprising the complete automotive value chain including R&D, procurement, production, finance, sales, aftersales and vehicle related services.
As a Legal counsel - together with the team - you will play a major role in driving legal processes and overall management and mitigation of legal risks.
In addition to that you will be promoting a culture of integrity and sustainable excellence together with the management of the company.

'Our Legal Team at MFTBC is tasked with providing legal services and advice to all the different business functions domestically within Japan but also to internal stakeholders.
You will have the possibility to
access to and gain experience in a worldwide operation, work on a wide variety of international and domestic contracts, e.g. Distribution Agreements, Supply Agreements, License Agreements, Contract Manufacturing Agreements, etc.
experience very interesting M&A projects (e.g., creating Joint Ventures or other business alliances), work on domestic and international litigation and dispute resolution matters work on corporate governance related matters (Shareholder Meeting, Board of Directors Meeting)
cooperate with external lawyers from top law firms create and provide trainings on selected topics, e.g. subcontract act or antitrust law provide legal advise on data related business models (e.g. connectivity services)
etc.
必須要件：
企業法務部門での3年以上の経験。
契約書審査業務、社内からの法律相談対応、訴訟の進行管理の経験。
法学または関連する分野の専攻、またはビジネス実務法務検定2級程度の法律知識。
歓迎要件：
海外契約法務の経験（特に売買契約の経験があれば尚可）。
メーカー業界での業務経験。
語学要件：
日本語ネイティブレベル
英語ビジネスレベル（英語で契約書レビューができるレベル）
