Lab Support Engineering is at the heart of a worldwide lab operations team providing 24x7 lab access, service and solutions support in multiple locations. Independent and flexible, team members are always ready to adapt to the changing daily priorities. They make an impact in all kinds of ways – from installing and maintaining servers and storage equipment within the fast-paced lab computing environment, through to providing top-level technical expertise and support to engineering departmental users. As a Lab Support Senior Engineer, you will design, deploy and maintain infrastructure across datacenter and validation lab environments. Your role will involve provisioning new equipment, configuring servers, managing networking and storage and troubleshooting issues to keep engineering teams productive. You’ll gain experience with advanced servers, switches and storage systems, while supporting cutting-edge development and validation work.

Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Experience working in datacenter or lab operation environments
Strong knowledge of Dell PowerEdge servers, storage devices, particularly PowerStore, and networking fundamentals (switch configuration, troubleshooting)
Proficiency in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, SUSE, Debian, Ubuntu) and virtualization technologies (VMware, vCenter)
Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, ownership-driven approach and communication skills for documenting work, managing tickets and engaging with engineers
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $102,850.00 - $133,100.00.
