We are the software development team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry and has a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions.
Our mission is to build and support the IB business in cooperation with Business users. Members will be involved in a variety of in-house projects, leveraging the latest technologies, modern development practices, and generative AI.
The team consists of multinational members, and communication within the team and with stakeholders is conducted in both Japanese and English.

メンバーは最新の技術と開発手法を活用して、様々な内製開発やプロジェクトに携わっています。チーム内や関連チームとのコミュニケーションは日本語と英語の両方で行われます。 Responsibilities：- Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side and web applications that power IB business services.
- Partner with business, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions.
- L3 technical support where necessary.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, and related systems, using both Japanese and English.

- L3 サポートとしてテクニカルサポート。
- ビジネス部署や関連システムの担当者と調整を行う必要があります。この際、日本語と英語の両方を使用します。
- 登録資格 Requirements
- Requirements：＜Mandatory＞
- English communication skill (Business-level or above)
- Japanese language proficiency (Conversational-level or above)
- 5+ years of hands-on Java web application development on Linux
- Strong communication skills with business users
- Pro-active mindset
- 英語会話相当レベル以上
- 日本語ビジネス相当レベル以上
- 5年以上のLinux環境のJava webアプリケーション開発経験
- ビジネスユーザーとの要件定義の経験
- 主体的なマインドセット
＜Preferred＞- Agile development
- Industry experience in hands-on development within securities business
- Development using Python
- Development skill using Spring boot framework
- Experience with database design and management, preferably in MySQL
- Development or support of containerised applications (docker, kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience in system testing, and test automation (Junit etc.)
- Experience in GUI design and UX, preferably in Angular or React
- Understanding of the Securities business
- *JSDA (Japan Securities Dealers Association) Sales Representative Qualification

- Pythonを用いた開発経験
- Spring bootを用いた開発経験
- データベース設計・管理の経験。できればMySQLの利用経験
- アプリケーションのコンテナ化の開発・管理の経験 (docker, kubernetes等)
- システムテストやテスト自動化の経験 (Junit等)
- フロントエンドフレームワークを用いた開発経験（Angular、React等）
- 証券業務に関する知識
- 証券外務員資格

Since this position is hiring as a developer under JBS, there is a possibility of rotation within JBS.- This job description is for a developer role, and in all cases requires the candidate to have the ability to do both development and L3 support at the coding level.
