Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) is a global commercial vehicle manufacturer with more than 90 years of history and craftsmanship, delivering high‑quality trucks and buses to over 170 countries and regions worldwide.
In April 2026, MFTBC will integrate with Hino Motors under a newly established holding company, ARCHION, and begin operations as part of this new organization.

We at Mitsubishi Fuso IT take care of digitally enabling our business partners and ensuring business continuity be developing and maintaining new IT systems. Be it our Production systems that keep our production and operations running, our Finance systems that run our accounting and controlling processes or our sales systems that capture customer and sales data – we at IT manage all of those. We work closely with the business partners to accelerate digital transformation by optimizing existing systems and speeding up processes #TwiceAsFast.We do this by defining new approaches to business models that generate deeper insights and provide predictive solutions for the business.
The role of this position covers a range of responsibilities, including;
-IT strategy planning, design and rollout of BoM (Bill of Material component list for sub-assemblies for truck production) related IT system and process.
-Business Consultant/Solution Architect for the replacement of the current production BoM system.
-Consultation as a Solution Architect for system enhancements and continuous improvement regarding BoM relevant process, workflow, dataflow.
Within the above responsibility, key tasks are;
-Investigating the current IT system, documenting user needs and recommending improvements
-Designing system improvements and overseeing implementation
-Testing and repairing system faults
-Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting systems
-Monitoring systems to ensure efficient operation
-Provide technical support for ongoing system maintenance
-Operate with supplier and group company.
Please note that;
-Project manager/Solution Architecture in MFTBC is required to working with internal business offices (in this role especially production offices).
Development and Operation need to executed with IT vendor and group company.
-Sometimes, project lead role and responsibility are required in this position. project size from small to large ( above 5 Oku JPY)
It is highly desirable for a Solution Architecture to hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in:
-Computer Science
-Engineering
in addition to that common certificate, knowledge and experience in manufacturing company, automotive company is nice to have.
A Project manager/Solution Architecture should also have the following personal skills and experience:
-IT project lead or management : more than 10 years-System design / data model design including SAP HANA system
-Several years of experience in: Vendor management for development and operation; System development, Data modeling, analysis, programming, and stored procedures
-Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Scala or Java-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Excellent Japanese and English business language skills – both spoken and written- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with a variety of different teams A project manager is a professional who leads people and makes sure a project is carried through.
The project leader engages the team, motivating them, taking care of their needs and maintaining a friendly and productive work environment.
Some of their primary responsibilities include:
-Attending meetings with other leaders
-Developing progress reports regarding projects they’re working on
-Keeping the team focused on the project and moving toward to reach its goal
-Testing product prototypes
