We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Generalist/HRBP to support our growing Australia and New Zealand business.
This is a true HR generalist role combining business partnering, HR operations and office administration. You will act as one of the trusted HR partners to managers and employees, providing practical advice on day-to-day people matters while taking ownership of HR operations, employee engagement initiatives and business improvement projects.
Working closely with the HR Manager and cross-functional leaders, you'll help create a positive employee experience while ensuring our HR and office operations run efficiently.
Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes through Workday
Prepare employment contracts, letters and HR documentation
Maintain HRIS systems and ensure employee records remain accurate and compliant
Coordinate probation reviews, contract changes and employee lifecycle administration
Prepare HR reports and maintain HR compliance documentation
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
Drive employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programs
Coordinate employee events, celebrations and recognition programs
Support internal communications and company-wide announcements
Coordinate learning and development activities and HR workshops
Assist with implementation of HR initiatives and regional projects
Act as one of the first point of contact for managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters
Provide practical guidance on performance management, probation, employee relations and workplace issues
Support investigations, disciplinary processes and documentation in accordance with company policies and employment legislation
Coach managers on HR policies, best practices and people management
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand
Oversee day-to-day office administration and workplace operations
Coordinate office facilities, maintenance and vendor relationships
Manage office assets, supplies and equipment.
Support office relocation and workplace improvement projects.
Process HR and office-related invoices and maintain administrative records.

We are looking for someone who has:
3+ years' experience in a HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or HR Operations role.
Strong understanding of Australian employment practices and employee lifecycle management.
Experience supporting managers with performance management, probation and employee relations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and continuously improve processes.
Experience working in retail, hospitality or other fast-paced multi-site environments is highly regarded.
Experience using HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.
