■Position Summary
Sony Group Corporation (SGC), is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Global Information Security Department organization located in Tokyo. This position will report to the Sr. Manager, Cloud Engineer and will be a member of the Cloud Engineering team that provides designs, engineering support, implementations and 24x7 support of the technology infrastructure that supports a global incident response team. The Cloud Engineering team is a pivotal part of Sony’s information security program to secure its information, assets, services, and the products that depend on them, building trust with customers and stakeholders and protecting the privacy of Sony’s customers.
■Job Responsibilities
Directly support the Japan Cyber Defense Team and their respective Sony Group companies with all Cloud work such as, but not limited to, security log on-boarding, security configurations, troubleshooting, and establishment of new Cloud environments.
Support the management of Hybrid infrastructures using Azure, AWS, GCP, and some on-prem solutions ・Implement security best practices for both traditional and cloud environments ・Design, implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline solutions to support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments ・Participate in and contribute to the solution engineering process for security log collection ・Produce, evaluate, and improve on operational processes, procedures, and documentation for security log collection ・Collaborate with teams in other locations to ensure the reliable performance of security log collection across the Sony operating companies ・Support other groups within the organization to maintain availability and proper operation of the security log collection infrastructure
■Required qualifications
Previous experience with enterprise log collection and security monitoring ・Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Hands on experience with scripting languages (python or others)
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation approaches ・Working knowledge of networking technologies and protocols; including TCP/IP and standard Internet related protocols ■Preferred qualifications ・A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology or related field ・Cloud certifications for Azure, GCP, or AWS ・Experience with SaaS solutions such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace ・Experience with project management, preferable Agile management approaches and tools ・Experience supporting Hybrid architectures and cloud migrations
