Position Overview
MangoBoost is seeking an experienced Global Logistics Manager to lead the global logistics operations for MangoBoost's products, including servers, DPUs, and critical IT infrastructure components.
This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end global movement of products from the completion of manufacturing through final customer delivery. You will design and build a global warehouse and logistics network, strategically position inventory across regional hubs, and optimize international transportation, customs clearance, and delivery operations for both cost efficiency and service performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop logistics and inventory plans based on regional demand forecasts and sales pipelines while proactively mitigating supply chain disruptions to ensure reliable product availability worldwide.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
Global Logistics Network & Distribution Strategy
- Develop and manage MangoBoost's global warehouse and logistics network, including standardizing logistics processes across U.S. channel partners and warehouses, Taiwan manufacturing sites and warehouses, and regional distribution partners.
- Design and operate overseas warehouse models, including warehouse contracts, 3PL operations, and inter-site inventory transfer strategies.
- Identify, establish, and optimize new logistics hubs to strengthen the global distribution network.
Inventory Planning & Operations
- Optimize inventory through safety stock management, inventory turnover improvement, and excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory control.
- Manage inventory allocation, replenishment, and inventory levels across global distribution centers.
- Ensure inventory visibility through effective inbound/outbound operations while supporting new product launch readiness.
- Establish and monitor warehouse-specific service level agreements (SLAs) and operational KPIs.
International Transportation, Customs & Delivery
- Manage international ocean and air freight operations, negotiate freight rates, and oversee freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Lead global import/export operations, customs clearance, duties, Incoterms compliance, and bonded warehouse processes.
- Coordinate first-mile transportation from ODM manufacturing facilities.
- Manage last-mile delivery to customers and regional deployment sites while aligning logistics schedules with installation timelines.
- Monitor transportation lead times and on-time delivery performance throughout the logistics network.
Logistics Risk & Cost Management
- Develop and execute Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to mitigate logistics disruptions caused by transportation delays, port congestion, geopolitical events, or other supply chain risks.
- Reduce concentration risk by rebalancing inventory across regional distribution centers.
- Evaluate and manage logistics partners, including freight forwarders and 3PL providers, driving continuous performance improvement.
- Analyze and optimize logistics costs, including freight, warehousing, customs, and related operational expenses.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop logistics and inventory plans based on regional demand forecasts and sales pipelines.
- Coordinate inbound shipment schedules and inventory planning with the Strategic Sourcing team.
- Partner with Finance to align logistics budgets and cost optimization initiatives.
- Utilize ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Cin7) to manage inventory, transportation data, operational reporting, and KPI tracking.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in global logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations within the server, data center, or hardware industries.
- Experience establishing new logistics hubs or directly managing international warehouse operations.
- Strong experience in international transportation, freight negotiations, import/export operations, customs clearance, and global trade compliance.
- Proven experience managing and optimizing inventory, including safety stock, inventory turnover, and excess & obsolete (E&O) inventory.
- Experience selecting, managing, and evaluating logistics partners, including 3PL providers and freight forwarders.
- Hands-on experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS platforms for logistics and inventory management.
- Experience operating multi-country logistics networks, particularly across regions such as the United States and Taiwan.
- Strong business-level English communication skills, with experience collaborating with U.S.-based teams, global partners, and international logistics providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing the global transportation and warehousing of high-value, high-weight server equipment such as GPU-based systems.
- Experience leading warehouse operations, managing 3PL providers, or establishing new international logistics hubs.
- Experience transporting hazardous materials or high-value precision equipment, including logistics insurance and risk management.
- Experience leading logistics business continuity planning (BCP) initiatives or logistics cost optimization projects.
- Professional supply chain or logistics certifications such as CLTD or CSCP.
- Logistics experience at hyperscalers, server OEM/ODM companies, or global hardware manufacturers.
- Experience working in startups or fast-growing global organizations.
