Position Overview
MangoBoost is seeking a Finance Analyst to own accounting, controllership, and tax for our U.S. as we scale our global operations. You will be the owner of the U.S. books—running the close, keeping us compliant, and partnering closely with the CFO Group in Seoul and our U.S. operations. This role rewards someone who is equally rigorous in the detail of reconciliation and in improving the process behind it.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
You will own the financial backbone of the U.S. entity, working closely with the CFO Group and HQ. This includes but is not limited to:
- Own day-to-day accounting and controllership for the U.S. entity—month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and general-ledger integrity under U.S. GAAP.
- Manage AP/AR, expense, and payroll-related accounting in coordination with HQ.
- Coordinate U.S. tax and compliance (federal / state filings, sales & use tax, 1099s, registrations) with external CPAs and tax advisors and own the compliance calendar.
- Support intercompany accounting between the U.S. (MBA) and Korea (MBK) entities—intercompany loans, reconciliations, and transfer-pricing inputs.
- Assist with audits, financial-statement preparation, and internal controls.
- Partner with FP&A and Treasury on actuals, cash, and reporting—and help improve and automate the close.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years in accounting/controllership and/or tax, ideally a mix of public accounting (Big 4 or regional) and industry.
- Solid U.S. GAAP knowledge with hands-on month-end close and reconciliation experience.
- Exposure to U.S. tax and compliance; comfortable coordinating with external advisors.
- Experience with an ERP / accounting system and strong Excel; you take full ownership of accuracy and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and organized, able to operate in a fast-moving startup across time zones.
- Fluent in English and Korean—professional proficiency in both.
- Interest in AI infrastructure and semiconductor technologies.

Notice Regarding Return of Hiring Documents
- This notice is in accordance with Article 11, Section 6 of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act, which allows job applicants, excluding the final successful candidate, to request the return of any recruitment documents they have submitted.

- The company will keep the recruitment documents for 180 days following the confirmation of the employment decision. If no request for the return of documents is made within that period, the company will dispose of all recruitment documents without delay in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
