What you'll achieve:

As a Field Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the full marketing lifecycle across South Africa and steer the marketing plan for Sub-Saharan Africa markets — building and executing event strategies, multi-vehicle campaigns, and audience engagement programs that accelerate pipeline and revenue. You'll act as the connective tissue between regional sales leadership, regional marketing, and local execution — ensuring every campaign is insight-led, every event delivers impact, and every decision is backed by data. By harnessing AI-driven tools and a deep understanding of the South African market, you will continuously raise the bar on targeting precision, campaign outcomes, and the customer experiences that fuel Dell's growth across the region.

You will:

• Own end-to-end strategy and execution of regional marketing campaigns and events across South Africa, while collaborating with the broader team to support marketing initiatives across Sub-Saharan Africa markets — from concept and audience targeting through to on-site delivery, post-event analysis, and outcome impact reporting.
• Build and own the event execution strategy, partnering with local Sales, Channel, and Product teams to design high-impact experiences that drive engagement, accelerate pipeline, and align with revenue priorities across the region.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and data-driven audience targeting to optimise campaign reach, personalise messaging, and deliver measurable ROI across digital, ABM, and live event programs — adapting approaches to the nuances of Provincial markets.
• Analyse campaign and event performance patterns, audience behavior, and multi-market insights to continuously refine targeting strategies, recommend localised go-to-market approaches, and scale best practices across South Africa and the broader Sub-Saharan markets.

Essential Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, demand generation, and event marketing, ideally within the technology sector, with exposure to multi-market or pan-African go-to-market strategies.
• Proven ability to build and execute large-scale event strategies — including executive forums, customer roundtables, partner summits, and trade shows — with strong end-to-end project ownership.
• Strong expertise in audience segmentation and targeting, with hands-on experience using marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and AI-driven marketing tools for personalisation and predictive analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with in-country and regional sales, channel, and product organisations and coordinate external agencies and vendors to deliver seamless campaign and event experiences across South Africa.
• Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent campaigns, events, budgets, and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with a data-driven, results-oriented mindset.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business
• Certifications in AI, demand generation, event management
