Position Overview
MangoBoost is seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) who will support the deployment and operation of DPU and server products at customer sites while collaborating closely with internal engineering teams to deliver the best possible customer experience.
This role is responsible for the overall technical support process, from pre-sales technical reviews to on-site installation and validation support, first-level troubleshooting, and coordination with SI partners responsible for physical infrastructure deployment. You will play a critical role in ensuring that MangoBoost’s solutions perform reliably and efficiently in global customer environments centered around AI training and inference clusters.
Working closely with Sales, engineering teams, and SI partners, you will help expand MangoBoost’s customer support capabilities and contribute to building a trusted technical support framework for global AI infrastructure deployments.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from pre-deployment environment reviews to post-deployment support
- Collaborate with SI partners responsible for the physical installation of servers and networking equipment, including communicating technical requirements, validating configurations, and supporting BOM selection
- Lead first-level troubleshooting for hardware, driver, and networking issues, and escalate issues to engineering teams with clear technical analysis
- Communicate customer feedback to engineering teams to help improve product quality, reliability, and usability
- Provide technical training for customers and create customer-facing documentation such as FAQs and troubleshooting guides
- Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI infrastructure environments (GPU/NPU clusters) at leading global customers and contribute to next-generation AI cluster deployments
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a related field(FAE, Sales/Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Technical Support, etc.)
- Hands-on experience managing server systems, Linux environments, and networking equipment in IDC or data center environments
- Practical understanding of L2/L3 networking, server hardware architecture, Linux device drivers, and system operations
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, driver, and networking layers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand customer requirements and clearly convey technical specifications to internal teams and partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at an SI company or server manufacturer
- Experience supporting large-scale GPU/NPU/HPC cluster environments
- Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment and operations
- Experience with RDMA/RoCEv2 environments and RNIC products(e.g., Mellanox ConnectX series)
- Experience working in high-performance networking environments of 100G or higher
- Business-level English communication skills for collaboration with global customers and internal teams
