Responsibilities

We are looking for high quality talent to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research platform in Asia. We are recruiting for full-time Research Associates for the Asia Energy team. Our research teams are typically only two or three professionals; therefore, you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution.

As a Research Associate you will:

Acquire expertise in Asia Energy (including Oil, Gas, Power, and Energy Storage) working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert.
Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies.
Contribute to our highly differentiated written product.
Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients.

Profile required

Our Research Associate typically possess:

Advanced financial modelling skills including confident knowledge of Excel and/or experience of analyzing financial companies (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA).
Asia Energy (Oil, Gas, Power, and Energy Storage) experience is a plus.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
Track records of outstanding academic performance, including honors and awards.
Excellent broad-based analytical skills.
Familiarity with Bloomberg is an advantage.
Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level.
