The Role and Impact In this role, you will lead the business development and solution strategy for Intel's system-level simulation technologies, including virtual prototyping, architecture exploration, functional simulation, power/performance/thermal modeling, digital twin concepts, and related EDA/ESL flows. This role is to be centered on simulation technologies focused on creating and growing business opportunities for external customers, with simulation acting as both a direct solution area and an enabler for broader purpose-built silicon and foundry engagements. You will also develop and scale external opportunities around Intel's simulation portfolio, including Simics, Docea, CoFluent, and related capabilities, with simulation serving both as a direct solution area and as an enabler for broader purpose-built silicon, foundry, datacenter, AI, and strategic customer engagements. The successful candidate will work across engineering, product, business, partner, and ecosystem teams to translate internal capabilities into customer-facing value propositions, scalable solution offerings, commercialization models, and repeatable adoption mechanisms. Business group The role is part of Intel's broader mission to design and deliver world-class computing solutions that power the future of technology. You will join a team dedicated to enabling innovation through simulation tools and optimization algorithms, contributing to Intel's leadership in advanced computing and providing critical technical solutions to meet evolving customer needs. Key Responsibilities Strategy and Business Development • Develop business strategy, growth plans, and go-to-market approaches that position simulation capabilities as both standalone offerings and enablers for broader purpose-built silicon, foundry, datacenter, and AI engagements. • Assess market opportunities, competitive positioning, and customer requirements to guide investment priorities and growth plans. • Define pricing, packaging, licensing, and commercialization strategies for simulation-based solutions and services. Solutions and Value Proposition • Translate internal tools, platforms, and methodologies (Simics, Docea, CoFluent) into differentiated customer-facing solutions, value propositions, and scalable engagement models. • Create solution offerings, technical narratives, business cases, roadmaps, and executive-level recommendations that connect simulation capabilities to customer outcomes and Intel growth priorities. • Identify, qualify, and prioritize external opportunities where system-level simulation can accelerate customer adoption, reduce development risk, and enable larger foundry, silicon, client, datacenter, and AI engagements. Customer and Partner Engagement • Build strategic relationships across EDA, semiconductor, foundry, custom silicon, and ecosystem partner landscapes to support simulation adoption and long-term business growth. • Support customer pursuits through solution architecture discussions, proposal development, technical positioning, and partner alignment. • Work with business, product, sales, and ecosystem teams to establish market positioning, customer adoption strategies, and scalable revenue models. Execution and Operations • Establish scalable delivery mechanisms, governance, success metrics, and operating processes that grow customer opportunities into repeatable business execution. • Balance external opportunity development with internal roadmap commitments, resource constraints, delivery quality, and long-term capability growth. • Represent the organization in senior-level technical and business discussions, influencing decisions across engineering, product, customer, partner, and executive stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications Education and Industry Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor, systems, software, EDA, ESL, virtual prototyping, system-level simulation, technical business development, solution architecture, or related technical domains. Technical Expertise • Demonstrate strong proficiency in system simulation technologies, including but not limited to virtual platforms, functional simulation, architecture exploration, digital twin concepts, and power/performance/thermal modeling. • Possess hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Simics, Docea, CoFluent, SystemC, EDA/ESL tools and flows, embedded software, firmware, BIOS/OS integration, RTL front-end development, or hardware/software co-design. Business and Solution Leadership • Proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into customer-facing value propositions, solution offerings, and scalable adoption models. • Demonstrated experience in engaging customers, partners, or ecosystem stakeholders in solution architecture, business development, or strategic partnership initiatives. • Track record of contributing to or developing business strategy, growth plans, market positioning, customer requirements, pricing and packaging, or go-to-market models for technical solutions. Program and Stakeholder Management • Skilled in leading complex technical programs, customer engagements, or partner initiatives from concept to execution, balancing quality, schedule, scope, resources, and stakeholder expectations. • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align technical and business leaders around shared strategies and customer outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field. Commercialization and Scaling Experience • Experience in commercializing, externalizing, or scaling internal engineering tools, platforms, methodologies, or services into customer-facing solutions. Market and Customer Insight • Deep understanding of foundry, custom silicon, purpose-built silicon, Client, Datacenter, AI, or other vertical-market customer needs where system-level simulation and architecture exploration drive business value. Ecosystem and Partnership Development • Familiarity with EDA and semiconductor ecosystem business models, including licensing, services, co-development, partner-led delivery, and value-based solutions. • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with customers, vendors, suppliers, ecosystem partners, and internal teams to foster technical adoption and business growth. Business Agility and Delivery • Proven capability to operate effectively in ambiguous business environments-defining opportunities, validating demand, securing engagements, and establishing scalable delivery models. • Ability to balance hands-on solution architecture, customer development, business strategy, technical rigor, and delivery governance. Global Engagement • Willingness and ability to support a global role, collaborating across time zones and traveling for business as required. Your expertise will shape the future of Intel's technologies and create solutions that matter. Join us to be part of a team transforming the industry and delivering impactful advancements in computing. We look forward to seeing your unique skills and ideas in action.
