The Director, Onsite Merchandising will lead demand shaping and onsite experience optimization to drive rapid GMV growth and elevate customer engagement. This role owns the strategy and execution of onsite merchandising assets, customer journey enablement, and large-scale campaign orchestration, working cross-functionally with senior leaders across Product, Tech, Finance, Marketing, Category, CRM, and Design.
This is a highly visible leadership role with direct impact on business performance, customer experience, and long-term platform innovation.
Own and drive onsite demand shaping strategy to accelerate customer engagement and commercial performance.
Deliver ≥20% month-over-month GMV growth, with strong accountability for core performance KPIs including CTR and CVR. Translate business goals into scalable onsite merchandising strategies that drive traffic conversion and basket expansion.
Lead the creation of innovative onsite merchandising assets, tailored to different customer segments and shopping missions.
Partner closely with Product and Tech teams to design and launch new product features that improve discovery, relevance, and conversion. Champion AI-led creative and personalization tools, enabling dynamic content, personalized design, and data-driven user experiences.
Enable a seamless end-to-end user journey across onsite experiences and marketing channels.
Ensure onsite merchandising strategies are tightly integrated with CRM, performance marketing, and brand initiatives.
Own planning and execution of major commercial events andncampaigns (e.g., CNY, 618, Double 11, seasonal mega sales).
Maximize business impact through strategic assortment presentation, thematic storytelling, and real-time optimization during campaigns.
Act as a key strategic partner to Finance, Product, Tech, Category Management, CRM, Design, and Marketing teams.
Provide thought leadership, align stakeholders, and drive execution excellence across complex, matrixes organizations.
