As POP MART continues to expand across Australia & New Zealand, we’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to support our digital growth and enhance our social media presence.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in social media and digital marketing within a creative, youth-driven brand, who is passionate about content, trends, and engaging online communities.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the HQ team to support the development and execution of local digital marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with brand goals and business objectives.
Campaign & Account Management: Manage day-to-day social media channel operations and support the execution of always-on and campaign activities, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies.
Content Strategy & Publishing: Support content planning and publishing to drive organic reach, engagement, and follower growth, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
Influencer Collaboration: Collaborate with influencers to co-create authentic content that reflects their genuine experiences and resonates with target audiences.
Community Management: Monitor and manage community engagement across comments and direct messages, maintaining a consistent brand voice and escalating customer issues where required.
Data Analysis & Performance Reporting: Analyse social media performance and contribute to regular reporting, providing insights to support campaign optimisation and decision-making.
Relevant experience in social media or digital marketing (formal qualifications not essential)
Approximately 3–5 years’ experience in consumer marketing or social media, ideally within a fast-paced retail, agency, or creative environment
Proven experience in a creative, youth-oriented category (e.g. collectibles, toys, gaming, beauty, fashion, lifestyle) preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide insights
Active user of social media platforms, with a good understanding of trends and popular culture
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
Comfortable using digital tools and platforms, with a willingness to learn new technologies
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Experience working with budgets and campaign performance is beneficial
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders
