Position Overview
MangoBoost is actively seeking skilled DV (Design Verification) engineers to join our Seoul office in Korea for IP/FPGA/SoC (System-on-Chip) developments. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including verifying in-house accelerator IPs and performing comprehensive verification for complex systems encompassing commercial IPs and in-house IPs. DV engineers need to understand the functionalities of the DPU IPs and construct robust verification environments, develop workflows and verification methodologies, all activities are aimed to develop bug-free hardware IPs to make MangoBoost DPU solutions a lot more valuable.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
- Lead comprehensive system-level software/hardware verification and troubleshooting for MangoBoost DPUs using RTL simulation, ensuring robustness and reliability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (IP Design, Software, Architecture, SoC, etc.) to meticulously validate the functionality and performance of DPU systems and applications
- Evaluate system workflow and performance, providing recommendations for enhancements based on user feedback, complaints, and bug reports from other teams
- Opportunity to spearhead the development and implementation of innovative HW-focused verification methodologies to enhance DPU product quality and efficiency
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest DV techniques and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree holders may apply as entry-level candidates.
- Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in RTL simulation with Verilog/System Verilog
- Experience in digital HW verification flow
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ year industry experience in performance verification (measuring and analyzing DUT performance metrics)
- Ability to write UVM testbench code from scratch
- Familiarity with protocols and standards in the AMBA, Ethernet, PCIe and NVMe domains
- Ability to establish comprehensive and concrete verification plans
- Working experiences in coverage driven constraint random verification
- Ability to model a system with OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) paradigm
- Strong background on computer architecture and operating system
- Experience in verifying ARM-based SoC scenarios with large-scale master/slave connections over NoC bus, including QoS behavior verification, using RTL simulation.

Notice Regarding Return of Hiring Documents
- This notice is in accordance with Article 11, Section 6 of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act, which allows job applicants, excluding the final successful candidate, to request the return of any recruitment documents they have submitted.
- Job applicants who were not selected as the final candidates in the recruitment process are entitled to request the return of the recruitment documents they submitted within 180 days of the date the employment decision is confirmed. However, this does not apply to documents submitted via the website or email, or documents voluntarily submitted by the applicant without the company’s request. If the recruitment documents are lost due to natural disasters or other reasons for which the company is not responsible, it will be considered as having been returned.
- Applicants wishing to request the return of their recruitment documents should fill out the Request for Return of Hiring Documents [Form 3 of the Enforcement Rules of the Fair Hiring Procedure Act] and submit it by email (recruiting@mangoboost.io). The documents will be sent by registered mail to the designated address within 14 days from the confirmation of submission. Please note that the cost of registered mail will be borne by the recipient.
- The company will keep the recruitment documents for 180 days following the confirmation of the employment decision. If no request for the return of documents is made within that period, the company will dispose of all recruitment documents without delay in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act.
