Dell Financial Services – Inside Sales Representative

What you’ll achieve:

The DFS Inside Sales Representative is a senior inside sales professional responsible for driving financing penetration, originations, and margin across an assigned territory or segment. This role partners closely with Dell Technologies field sales, inside sales, and channel partners to position Dell Financial Services (DFS) offerings that enable customers to acquire Dell solutions through flexible payment and consumption models.

You will:

• Own financing performance for assigned territory/segment, including originations, DFS penetration, and take-rate on key campaigns.
• Work daily with AEs/ISRs, specialists, and partners to attach DFS to hardware, software, and services opportunities.
• Proactively prospect, qualify, and develop financing opportunities in new and existing accounts.
• Lead customer conversations on payment solutions (leases, loans, consumption, as-a-service, seasonal structures, refresh programs, etc.).
• Structure competitive, compliant financing proposals, working with pricing, credit, legal, and operations as needed.
• Manage end-to-end pipeline in Dell/DFS tools (e.g., SFDC, DFS systems), including forecasting and deal hygiene.
• Collaborate with DFS Sales, Operations, and Risk to solve deal barriers, drive bookings, and ensure timely funding.
• Educate and enable Dell sellers and partners on DFS programs, tools, and processes (enablement calls, deal reviews, QBRs).
• Use reporting and analytics to identify coverage gaps, whitespace, and performance trends; execute focused actions to close gaps.
• Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and documentation standards across all transactions.

Essential Requirements

• 3+ years of B2B sales or financial services sales experience, preferably in technology financing, leasing, or IT solutions.
• Strong understanding of basic credit principles, lease/loan structures, and customer P&L/Cash-flow drivers.
• Proven track record of overachieving quota in an inside sales or account management role.
• Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment with field sales, channels, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills with C-level and finance stakeholders.
• Strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline; proficient with CRM and sales tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple opportunities, and execute with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
