As a Credit Analyst you will be based in Poland but people who will become your closest business partners are in Germany. Their day-to-day job consists of preparing credit applications for corporate clients and so will yours, as you will be assigned a portfolio of clients to contribute to the team’s goals. This opportunity will enable you to use English (or German if you feel comfortable with it) on daily basis and provide you with new level of professional challenges.
In this role you will gain exposure to a wide variety of projects and interesting cases. Preparing credit applications (annual reviews/interim credit requests/credit opinions etc.) in compliance with guidelines, procedures and timelines
Writing a clear and concise credit analysis based on a general study of the counterparty and the understanding of the proposed transaction (nature of the line, maturity, amount)
Checking the compliance of the credit request with the existing company policies
Commenting on the terms and conditions as appropriate (structure, amount, collateral, credit matters defined in the legal documentation)
Issuing an autonomous credit opinion and giving a relevant recommendation
Launching credit applications in company electronic tool for signatures and collecting the appropriate sign-offs
Assigning obligor ratings and uploading it in company tool
Monitoring of assigned credit portfolio
Cooperating with both Warsaw and Frankfurt teams, participating in regular operational review calls and reporting
You have at least 3 years of experience in credit in corporate banking business
You know English very well
You have a degree in a field related to economics
You can easily write a concise summary of an analysis
You can cooperate with multiple partners from different business units
You are flexible, well organized and autonomous
You take responsibility for your work and its quality
