The impact you’ll make

The Engineering function is responsible for all engineering activities within a firm to ensure that business objectives are met. Includes the creation, development, design and improvement of products, equipment, facilities, services, standards and procedures in all engineering fields. The Industrial Design area is responsible for creating and developing design concepts and specifications that optimize the function, ergonomics, perceived value and appearance of products.

•    Intermediate level requiring demonstrated competence in specific area and has mastered majority of job functions. • Typically works with moderate guidance in knowledge area(s).
•    Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
•    Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. • Builds productive internal and/or external working relationships.
•    Works to maintain team performance standards under changing circumstances. • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
•    Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
•    Completes most tasks using independent judgment soliciting team insight.

Who we’re looking for

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
