Business Analyst Europe North

This role in Financial Planning & Analysis supports the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The position assists in analysing financial data, preparing management reports, and ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance standards. The role works closely with finance staff to provide insights that inform business decisions and strategy. It offers exposure to various finance-related projects and opportunities to develop analytical and communication skills.

What you'll do:

• The finance professional is responsible for supporting the preparation and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements. 
• They assist in gathering and interpreting financial data to provide actionable insights for management. 
• The role involves ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, as well as maintaining accurate financial records. 
• Collaboration with other departments is essential to collect relevant information and support cross-functional projects. 
• The individual will contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and participate in knowledge sharing within the team. 
• They may also be involved in ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as required.

Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience 

• 2-4 years' experience in an finance/accounting environment 

• Fluent in English and local language

• Basic knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements 

• Knowledge of SOX preferred 

• High integrity, strong analytical and planning skills, creativity, goal orientation, excellent interpersonal and managerial skills, team player, strong communication skills, agility to learn and adapt quickly
