The primary purpose of this role is to strategically plan and execute communication initiatives that enhance brand visibility, build positive relationships with key stakeholders, and effectively convey our company's messages to the public and media.
Responsibilities
- PR & Media Relations (Core Function):
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media representatives across all channels — magazines, online media, broadcast, and emerging digital platforms.
- Proactively pitch story angles and secure editorial coverage in relevant outlets.
- Write, edit, and distribute press releases, media alerts, and press kits.
- Coordinate press interviews, media briefings, product launch events, and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and compile regular clipping/reporting summaries.
- Influencer Seeding & Viral Marketing:
- Plan and execute influencer seeding campaigns to generate organic buzz across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Naver.
- Identify, segment, and manage influencer lists across tiers (macro, micro, nano).
- Handle logistics end-to-end: influencer outreach, consent form management, product packaging, and shipping coordination.
- Track influencer posting performance and compile campaign results reports.
- Naver Brand Search Management:
- Manage Naver Brand Search account operations in collaboration with media agency.
- Plan and execute seasonal campaign creative and keyword strategies.
- Monitor performance metrics and optimize creative/keyword direction accordingly.
- Coordinate approval workflows for creative assets with internal stakeholders.
- Kakao Channel & CRM Messaging:
- Plan and manage KakaoTalk Channel messaging campaigns including promotional messages and targeted notifications.
- Coordinate with CRM team to align messaging timing and audience segmentation.
- Draft message copy and manage approval and scheduling workflows.
- Track open rates, click-through rates, and conversion data; provide performance insights.
- Content Creation & Brand Communication:
- Create and edit communication materials including press product sheets, brand backgrounders, and brand story assets.
- Ensure brand voice and messaging consistency across all external channels.
- Support social media content planning in collaboration with the digital content team.
- Event & Campaign Coordination:
- Support planning and logistics for PR events, product launches, and brand activations.
- Manage event guest lists, media invitations, and on-site coordination.
- Crisis & Internal Communication Support:
- Assist in implementing crisis communication protocols and responding to media inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging across internal and external channels.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, influencer campaign metrics, and digital channel performance.
- Contribute to the preparation of regular reports on PR and communication efforts.
Profile
Average 2~3 years’ experience in communication/PR. Competitive knowledge and experience in Communication/PR Fluent in Korean and English. Cosmetics industry experience preferred.
