POP MART is a global designer‑toy and pop‑culture brand with 550+ stores and 2,300 Robo Shops across 30+ countries. As we continue to grow across Australia, we’re looking for a confident and people‑focused Assistant Store Manager to join our established and top-grade Melbourne Walk store.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail leader who enjoys working in fast‑paced, high‑traffic environments, is passionate about developing teams, and thrives on delivering strong customer and commercial results. With a well‑established store, experienced leadership team, and strong head‑office support, you’ll be set up for success from day one.

WHAT YOU’LL LEAD

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll partner closely with the Store Manager to deliver strong day‑to‑day performance and support a high‑performing team.
Lead & Develop the Team

• Coach, motivate and inspire team members to deliver excellent service (team of 10-15)
• Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance support
• Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
  Drive Commercial Results
• Support delivery of sales targets and KPIs
• Translate performance results into clear coaching actions
• Build a confident, customer‑focused and sales‑driven team culture
  Deliver Strong Store Operations
• Assist with rosters, labour planning and daily operations
• Maintain high visual merchandising and store presentation standards
• Oversee stock deliveries, replenishment and inventory accuracy
• Support loss‑prevention routines and operational compliance
• Handle customer escalations professionally and in line with brand values
  Represent the POP MART Brand
• Deliver a standout customer experience on every shift
• Support new‑release launches and in‑store activations
• Engage with collectors and fans to create memorable brand moments

ABOUT YOU

You’ll succeed in this role if you are:

• A strong Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor or 2IC with 2+ years’ retail leadership experience, leading teams of 10+
• Confident leading teams in fast‑paced, high‑volume retail environments
• Comfortable working with KPIs and commercial sales targets
• A hands‑on people leader with strong coaching skills
• Highly organised across VM, service and store operations
• Customer‑focused and confident engaging with diverse customers
• Passionate about pop culture, designer toys or creative retail
• Flexible to work across a 7‑day shopping‑centre roster
