A Day in the Life

As a Retail Store Design Manager for Aesop, you will report to the Retail Design & Development Lead and provide end-to-end project management for new store openings and refurbishments across the ANZ region. You will be instrumental in bringing our unique retail environments to life, ensuring every space reflects Aesop's meticulous attention to detail and design philosophy.

Please note this is a 12 month maximum term contract.

• Lead Projects: You will manage the entire lifecycle of store development projects, from preparing architectural briefs to overseeing construction, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Collaborate & Influence: You will build and manage relationships with external consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, providing expert architectural feedback to ensure our vision is executed flawlessly.
• Drive Financial Excellence: You will apply your financial acumen to manage budgets, forecast costs, and negotiate project tenders to deliver value without compromising on quality.
• Innovate & Inspire: You will drive innovation by researching new materials and creative solutions, ensuring our retail spaces continue to be inspiring and efficacious.

We Are Looking For

We are seeking a considered and inspired individual with a passion for Aesop’s unique retail environment. You are a decisive and practical thinker, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining an impeccable eye for detail. You thrive in an autonomous role and have a proactive approach to building lasting partnerships.

• Significant experience in multi-project construction management, ideally within the retail or hospitality sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget forecasting and value engineering.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite and CAD.
• An academic background in Design, Architecture, or a related field.
