We are looking to hire an Account Manager who will handle accounts throughout China with a direct report to the Regional Sales manager. You will have an emphasis on new business sales, as well as expanding existing accounts. Focus on customers in optical communication and photonics.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Optics/Optoelectronics, Physics, Communications Engineering, or other related disciplines, solid understanding of optics fundamentals and engineering applications.
3 to 5 years of direct accounts sales experience in CAE software (simulation/analysis/design tools), experience selling software, engineering solutions, or other technical products is a plus.
Own and grow optical communications industry accounts (e.g., optical modules/components, fiber-optic communication systems & equipment, silicon photonics/optoelectronics, test & measurement across the ecosystem) and deliver annual sales targets and key business metrics.
Able to manage the full sales cycle from lead to close customer visits, technical/application discussions (in collaboration with application engineers/technical support), solution proposal and quotation, commercial negotiation, contracting and collections, renewals and expansion.
Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills; able to communicate across multiple levels in complex organizations and coordinate internal resources effectively.
Clear communication and strong writing skills (proposals, reports, emails, etc.).
Willing to travel nationwide as needed.
