Commodity Management within Materials and Procurement develops and implements plans to support forecasted needs for suppliers or commodities. We use our in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets to negotiate supplier agreements and contracts with optimum pricing and terms. We also harness our understanding of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management and supply chain evaluation models to develop optimal commodity management strategies.

What you’ll achieve

Develops and implements plans to support forecasted needs for supplier and/or commodities. Establishes and implements strategies for negotiating supplier agreements based on in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets for optimum pricing and terms. Employs knowledge of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management and supply chain evaluation models to develop and implement optimal commodity management strategies. Negotiates contracts and ensures contractual terms and performance scorecards are being met.

You will:

• Assist GCM (Global commodities manager)/GSM (global supply manger) with required data analytics:
• Coordinate and gather feedback from cross-functional teams for QBR (Quarterly Business Review); prepare presentation materials for the meeting.
• Compile data packages including product information, forecasted volumes, pricing, and market intelligence to support GCM cost negotiations and Business Awards (BA).
• Maintain the master cost file, upload data to the system, and communicate allocation details to relevant ODMs and Buyer teams. Provide cost analytics to GCM.
• Support GCM with cost interlock data refresh and collaborate with Finance to update critical financial metrics.
• Generate reports on aging, hit rate, and demand changes. Monitor and track capacity VS demand.Consolidate and produce the Global Demand Supply (GDS) report for GSM

• Fresh Graduate or will graduate between 2025.07 and 2026.6. Bachelor degree or above. Business/science/engineering/computer related subjects is preferred but not a must.

Desirable Requirements

• Programming will be a plus
