The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.
The impact you’ll make
This position is responsible for manpower planning and analysis, establishing manpower model for ever changing business environment and developing strategy to maintain optimum level of qualified DSF resources.
What you’ll do
Labor Resources Planning
- Develop manpower capacity & capability planning based on business forecast for long term & short term in SAR/AOP/QxR
- Conduct demographic analysis by AT by product by qualification for optimum level of DFS organization
- Analyze HC gap and explore options within resource supplying sources (DFS, LSP and Global Loaned Labor)
Financial Management
- Drive each AT to deliver predictable financial results (QCR/ QFR commit) thru accountability system, DFS labor Transfer, utilization and overtime
- Monitor/ track/ forecast DFS outsourcing spending and manage/ review LSP labor reporting
Report Structure & Work Relationship
- Report to Sr. Work Force Manager
- Cross functionally work with ABOD, Field Operation Executive, CSOM, CSM and Account planner
Who we’re looking for
Minimum Education
- B.S. in Engineering, Business or related field
Minimum Professional Experience
- 7+ years of experience in operation/planning/ Field engineer functions
Preferred qualifications
Skills Required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent MS office
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English in both written and spoken

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
