PayPay Product Designers are committed to eliminating user inconvenience and providing new value at all touch points originating from payments, not just only QR code payments.
PayPay is looking for a Product Designer who will join us to promote product creation that puts user experience top priority.
Our mission is to support all of the important touch-points in a user’s life from in-store to online payments and asset management, and to improve the user experience of Wallet and Money Management features. We aim to deliver a convenient and economical experience that everyone can use in their daily lives.
Work with engineers and product managers to develop new features and improve existing features that put user experience top priority. Experience various challenges to deliver a new financial experience to users.
End-to-end UX/UI design for products and services within the PayPay ecosystems
Design UX strategies based on project and business goals
Create design concepts using techniques such as user personas and journey maps
UX flow and UI design based on concept
Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and analysis using questionnaires and interviews
Analyze and suggest improvements using numerical analysis tools
Other wide range of work related to product design, such as organizing design workshops
You will gain insights into FinTech apps from around the world through competitive analysis and qualitative and quantitative user research. You will also gain hands-on experience designing FinTech products and shaping the experiences of millions of users. Along the way, you will refine your teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities will vary depending on your experience and skills:
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver end-to-end product experiences across UX and UI design, making decisions that consider the broader PayPay ecosystem and overall user experience
Deep understanding of the concept and requirements, proposing a UX flow that considers inclusiveness, comprehensiveness, and consistency, and finalizing the UI design
Commit to the business by designing a high-level UX strategy based on a deep understanding of PayPay's strategy and KGI/KPI, and a comprehensive decision to balance profit and UX
Team management, quality control, and mentoring other designers
In principle, 9:00am-5:45pm (actual working hours: 7h45m + 1h break)
