Principal Software Engineer-IT (Public Cloud Automation & AI)
The Software Developer in Public Cloud Engineering is responsible for developing and supporting automation and AI‑assisted solutions that enable scalable, secure, and efficient operations across IT Public Cloud tenants. This role supports cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
The position works closely with Cloud Platform, Security, Networking, and Operations teams to deliver standardized, automated, and policy‑driven cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities
You will:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Python‑based automation tools and services supporting Public Cloud operations.
- Build and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows for infrastructure and platform automation.
- Automate processes related to cloud provisioning, configuration management, validation, remediation, and reporting.
- Contribute to AI‑enabled solutions such as chatbots, intelligent workflows, and self‑service automation.
- Integrate automation solutions with CI/CD pipelines and internal enterprise platforms.
- Utilize cloud‑native APIs and SDKs across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud to support automation use cases.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience with multi‑cloud environments and exposure to AI or ML‑assisted automation capabilities.
- Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools and knowledge of containers or Kubernetes platforms.
- Experience with cloud governance, cost optimization, or chargeback models.
