📌 What You’ll Do at This Position
The People & Culture Team operates across a wide range of people and organizational functions, including performance management, compensation, and organizational culture, all with the goal of creating an environment where employees can do their best work.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations to ensure that employee compensation is administered accurately, consistently, and reliably. Beyond simply processing payroll, you will work closely with payroll outsourcing partners to validate data accuracy, review labor and tax compliance requirements, and help strengthen compensation operations across the organization.
You will also have opportunities to support and improve broader compensation programs while managing payroll-related data from a total rewards perspective.
This role requires a high level of accuracy and accountability, while also providing opportunities to continuously improve processes and contribute to operational excellence. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers and data, and who takes pride in building trust through reliable people operations.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Operations
- Collect, validate, and manage payroll data for monthly salary, bonus, and severance payment processing
- Collaborate with payroll outsourcing vendors and review payroll outputs for accuracy
- Manage payroll-related tax and social insurance data
- Support year-end tax settlement and retirement pension administration
- Support HR operational processes related to onboarding, benefits administration, and offboarding
✅ Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Payroll or HR Operations
- Experience managing and validating payroll data with a strong understanding of monthly payroll processes
- Knowledge of payroll-related taxation, including employment income, retirement income, and other taxable compensation
- Understanding of payroll administration, including social insurance and withholding tax processes
- Proficiency in Excel for data validation, reconciliation, and accuracy management
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
✅ Pluses
- Experience managing payroll outsourcing vendors
- Experience administering equity-based compensation programs, including stock options and RSUs
- Experience working at a publicly listed company or a company preparing for IPO
- Experience administering retirement pension plans (DC/DB)
- Experience reviewing labor law compliance and payroll-related tax matters
