👋 About the Team
The NetsPresso Platform Team designs and develops the core platform and software that bring Nota AI’s AI model compression and optimization technologies into real-world products for users.
NetsPresso converts models from various deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch and ONNX, into Nota’s proprietary integrated IR, NPIR. It then applies optimization technologies such as Quantization, Graph Optimization, and Compression to help models achieve the best possible inference efficiency across diverse target hardware, including NPUs, GPUs, and CPUs.
The team consists of five closely collaborating parts: Model Representation, Quantization, Graph Optimization, Model Engineering, and SW Engineering. The optimization technologies we work on serve as core infrastructure that brings Nota’s vision of “AI Everywhere” into reality.
📌 What You’ll Do at This Position
As a Technical Project Manager, you will take ownership of complex projects surrounding the NetsPresso product, including customer adoption, new feature launches, and hardware partner integrations, and drive them through to completion.
In particular, we are looking for someone who can coordinate decision-making among technical teams, business teams, customers, and hardware partners based on a deep understanding of AI, while consistently managing schedules, scope, and risks.
- Define project goals, scope, and timelines based on your understanding of AI technologies.
- Coordinate decision-making among technical teams, business teams, customers, and hardware partners, while taking responsibility for overall project progress.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from customer PoCs and pilots to actual product adoption and operation.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Establish and execute project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverable plans based on the product roadmap.
- Analyze market, customer, and technical requirements to define the problems each project needs to solve, and translate them into concrete schedules and execution priorities.
- Work closely with team leads and the leads of the five technical parts to align quarterly and annual project plans, and support trade-off decisions between AI technical constraints and business requirements.
- Hardware Partnership and Technical Collaboration
- Coordinate technical meetings and collaboration schedules with NPU, GPU, AI accelerator vendors, and Embedded SW partners.
- Manage the progress of projects involving the adoption of new hardware backends.
- Manage timelines and deliverables related to partner SDKs, toolchains, and technical documentation reviews.
- Customer Projects and Stakeholder Management
- Organize customer requirements throughout each stage, from PoC and pilot validation to actual product adoption and operation, and feed them back into the project backlog.
- Take ownership of the scope, schedule, and risks of NetsPresso adoption projects delivered to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Business Team, to manage customer communication and follow-up operations.
- Summarize customer feedback and deliver it to the product backlog, reducing information gaps between technical and business teams.
- Conduct technical and business communication in English with global partners and customers.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in an AI or software technology organization.
- 2+ years of experience within the above career as a PM, TPM, or Tech Lead responsible for a product or project.
- Deep understanding of deep learning and AI models, including practical knowledge of the model training, evaluation, and deployment cycle.
- Experience taking ownership of the scope, schedule, and risks of complex technical projects, coordinating decision-making among diverse stakeholders, and managing projects through to completion.
- Strong business communication skills in English.
- No restrictions on domestic or overseas business travel.
✅ Pluses
- Experience working at an AI company, AI chip vendor, Embedded SW company, or AI solution company.
- Experience managing B2B SaaS, platform SW, or AI solution projects in 0-to-1 or scale-up stages.
- Experience with global projects or partnerships.
- Understanding of AI model compression and optimization, On-device AI, and AI accelerator hardware such as NPUs and GPUs.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate in foreign languages other than English, such as Japanese or Chinese.
