About the role
We're looking for an Account Executive to scale our business in Japan — a highly motivated self-starter who is passionate about voice AI and how it's transforming the way businesses build and engage with their customers. We don't just sell a product; we partner with companies to help them create new experiences and unlock value at scale with our breakthrough voice technology. In this role you will:
• Build and manage a growing portfolio of new accounts across industries to help ElevenLabs meet its revenue goals.
• Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities that align with ElevenLabs' product offering and roadmap.
• Run agile, high-velocity outbound and outreach — moving fast from first touch to close.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales in collaboration with the Growth team.
• Develop and maintain a deep, hands-on understanding of ElevenLabs' products and how they map to customer use cases.
• Own KPI and sales performance tracking, providing weekly updates to the wider ElevenLabs team.
Requirements
• Proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment, including self-sourced pipeline.
• 5-7 years of previous experience in sales in a SaaS organisation.
• Strong product intuition — able to learn a technical product deeply and clearly articulate its value to customers. Genuine curiosity about Voice GenAI.
• A proactive, agile operator who moves fast rather than waiting for leads to come in.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
• A hybrid customer- & product-driven mentality that prioritises client satisfaction and scale.
• High fluency in Japanese; working proficiency in English.
