Responsibilities
The Compliance Controller’s main role is to implement, carry out and adapt investment restriction controls for one or more clients in order to verify compliance with legal and statutory limits and to fulfil the obligations set out in the “Investment Restriction Control” SLA. They carry out their duties under a service delegation agreement with the management company.
Responsibilities:
Ensures that a range of controls covering investment funds is carried out for one or more dedicated clients, as well as eligibility analyses for all NAV instruments.
- Coordinates the proper implementation and monitoring of settings for new funds amongst the various parties involved in the
onboarding process"
- Contributes to strengthening controls through operational efficiency
- Acts as organiser, participant and coordinator in the establishment of Fund Compliance Committees
- Assesses the impact of new regulations on investment restriction controls
- Implements and updates operating procedures and/or processes relating to the business
- Responds to auditors’ queries during audits
- Prepares declarations to the CSSF in accordance with CSSF Circular 24/856 and carries out impact calculations
- Participates on an ad hoc basis in Service Reviews for a specific client
- Participates in internal working groups on regulatory matters
- Contributes to process reviews and the drafting of RFPs
- Rigorously applies internal procedures

Kindly note that it is also mandatory to provide us with a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document.

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
