What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for validating Dell Factory Install framework/process on both commercial and consumer systems. These efforts will be carried out monthly for sustaining platforms and on demand for NPI platforms.
You will:
- Contribute to Factory-Readiness-Complete or Ready-To-Ship by validation with sound coverage.
- Help the development team to verify the install/test scripts.
- Help the platform team to duplicate/trouble-shoot factory issues.
- Develop, review and implement validation strategy for OS/App/Driver plus test process.

Essential Requirements
- Validated knowledge of programming languages; operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; network, embedded software/firmware; tools and utilities,
- Ability to read/debug python/C scripts.
- Capacity to achieve proficiency of new tools, languages and operating systems with training and on-the-job experience
- 3–4 years of related experience
