We are looking for MBAs to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research platform as Senior Research Associates. Our Senior Research Associates play an important role in producing the research Bernstein is famous for: unbiased, thematic, collaborative, data-driven, and always differentiated. You will develop relationships across the investing community and become a thought partner to our clients. You will work closely with your team but also have a high degree of autonomy and independence.
As a Senior Research Associate, you will:
Become an industry expert working one-on-one with a Senior Analyst who often has 10-15 years of prior industry experience in consulting and/or management roles
Become highly proficient at in-depth analysis of your companies, stocks, and industry themes
Author highly differentiated written research that is famous for its deep industry insights and quantitative frameworks, including our signature Blackbook product
Become adept at financial forecasting, including building detailed forward-looking models
Build strong relationships across the investing community including our sales and trading teams and institutional clients
Build a network within your industry including senior managements of your companies
Act as team COO and actively manage your franchise’s workflow

Profile required
For our MBA roles, we look for evidence of thought leadership, aptitude for the highest level of analytical rigor, and client relationship skills. We look carefully at your academic background as well as prior work experience for evidence of the following:

Strong quantitative skills and ability to work with data sets, including STEM undergraduate degrees

In accordance with applicable law, the minimum and maximum base annual salary for this role is as follows:
Base Salary Range: $175,000 to $175,000.
Actual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base salary is just one component of total compensation at Bernstein, which may include, depending on eligibility, commissions, year-end incentive compensation, short- and long-term incentives and Department-specific awards. In addition, Bernstein provides a variety of benefits to eligible employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off.
