Role Overview
The Mid Market Sales Manager is the founding leader of Harvey's Mid-Market sales team in ANZ, responsible for building and scaling the region's commercial sales presence from the ground up. This person joins the Commercial Sales organization under Harvey's global mid-market leadership and will own the full cycle of hiring, enabling, and managing a team of Account Executives focused on mid-market law firms and corporate legal departments across the APAC region. The role drives Harvey's geographic expansion strategy by establishing a repeatable sales motion, building pipeline, and closing deals in a high-growth market. They will partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Legal Engineering, and Solutions Architecture to deliver a world-class buyer experience in a new region. This is a rare opportunity to shape an entirely new market for one of the fastest-growing AI companies, with direct executive visibility and significant autonomy.
What You'll Do

Build, coach, and performance-manage a team of mid-market Account Executives selling Harvey's AI platform to law firms and in-house legal teams across ANZ.

Own pipeline generation strategy, territory design, and quota attainment for the ANZ mid-market segment.

Operate as a player-coach—unblocking deals, joining customer conversations, and elevating the team's sales craft at the deal level.

Partner cross-functionally with Legal Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, and Marketing to refine go-to-market motions for the region.

Develop and iterate on a regional sales playbook, adapting global best practices to the ANZ legal market.
What You Have
-
Demonstrated success managing a team of quota-carrying sales professionals in B2B SaaS, with a track record of consistent overperformance.

Experience selling into legal, professional services, or complex enterprise environments in the ANZ region.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking—ability to diagnose territory health, build data-driven plans, and prioritize ruthlessly.

Proven ability to coach AEs on deal execution, pipeline discipline, and sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC).

Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous startup environments with limited existing playbooks.
