Role:
The QA Lead / Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for testing the functionality of applications configured/customized in ServiceNow and its interactions with SG information system. This role requires a good understanding of ServiceNow, as well as the ability to interpret specifications and build test scenario and automate test execution. The QA Engineer brings a detail-oriented approach and a user-centric mindset to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define test strategy with the project team
- Validate application functionality configured or customized within the ServiceNow platform.
- Review and interpret specifications.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional and regression testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with teams to resolve issues ( ServiceNow and SG application teams )
- Ensure quality standards are met before releases and deployments.
- Automate test cases execution as much as possible, as early as possible in the development lifecycle.
- Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
